My Apologies and Some Exciting News

Sorry I haven't been around much lately... Sorry to the Willow Sketchie Challenge DT that I missed last week's challenge too. I haven't been crafting much lately... Which brings me to my exciting news... I am 15 weeks pregnant. :D Baby and myself are well... However I have been very tired and it is taking me a bit to learn my limits... My craft mojo also seems to have run away of late. :( Hoping it returns soon as I have a few Birthday cards I need to make. ;)

This is a pic of our baby taken at my first ultra sound scan at 11 weeks and 4 days.

    1. Thanks Hazel :-* That's the problem I'm one of those people who don't know when to stop... Lol... Now that we have got my fiancee (forgot to mention he proposed to me as well) moved in and we have sorted through his things, I have started to sort through all my stuff and have a big clean up (except my craft stuff of course lol)... My fiancee only lets me do a few hours before he makes me stop and rest though, don't know what I would do with out him ;)

    1. Thanks Claire :-* Lol... Thanks... Just really struggling to get myself to sit and craft... or even come up with an idea for a card... I did find a baby blanket in the cupboard yesterday I started knitting (but never finished) years ago for my sister-in-law when she was pregnant, so have decided to try and finish it ;)

  4. Congratulations Teegs, what fantastic news. That picture is great, you can see baby so clearly, you must be so excited. I'm glad you are OK, I was a bit worried when you didn't appear at Willow Sketchie, but I think you had a good reason. Hope you soon feel up to crafting, look after yourself and get plenty of rest.

    1. Thanks Pauline :-* I am very excited... Have already started buying baby things... We have been very lucky though as my youngest nephew is 1, so my sister-in-law has given me a whole heap of clothes, toys and other bits and pieces :D Thanks Pauline... I knew you would miss me... I wanted to let you all know sooner but I still had family to tell before I posted it online ;) :-*

    1. Thanks Lisa :-* Lol... Amazingly since I found out I was pregnant I have developed a better sleeping pattern, I'm usually asleep by 11:00pm and up at 9:00am (used to be 1 - 2am and up at 11am) I just need to stop myself from doing too much... Easier said then done unfortunately as I've always kept going even when I feel tired... But my fiancee has been only letting me do a few things during the day and then making me stop and rest lol ;) I don't mind the tiredness so much, just so glad that the morning sickness is gone, although it wasn't that bad as only vomited once, but I felt nauseous all day, luckily it stopped when I was about 10 weeks :D

    1. Hi Hazel :D Thanks for your lovely message :-*
Things are going very well apart from a couple of bleeds (not caused from the baby though, they think I am just a little sensitive to all the stretching etc), which the DR's have told me to rest and not lift anything too heavy until I see my usual GP tomorrow and get the results from my scan and a few other tests they did. :)
Although we did however find out at my ultra sound scan on Monday that we are expecting a little girl :D
